The Fredonia Regional Hospital laboratory boasts a small-hospital atmosphere with the instrumentation and technology of a large metropolitan medical center.
Our laboratory is both federally approved and licensed by CMS under CLIA, and inspected biannually by COLA. We offer our customers accurate, cost-effective results with a quick turnaround time to help our community be its healthiest.
The laboratory is an advanced, state-of-the-art facility staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for inpatients and Emergency Department patients. Outpatient hours are preferred between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, but the lab is always available outside those hours by appointment.
The laboratory team consists of eight clinical laboratory scientists and four laboratory assistants under the direction of Dr. Todd Wullschleger. The staff works diligently to stay informed and competent with today's ever-changing technologies. We strive to obtain the most accurate, efficient and highest-quality results in order to help you, the patient, be diagnosed and treated without delay.
